We're Here To Help!

If you have any questions, would like to confirm something a union organizer told you or need more information, feel free to contact us. We will do what we can to get you the information you need. Please remember that our coalition is comprised of volunteer child care providers from across the state so it may take a day to get a response. We will do our best to get back to you as quickly as possible.

Volunteer Opportunites

Our coalition is a 100% volunteer effort. We can always use the extra help. If you have a specific talent that we could utilize, let us know. Otherwise, below is a list of volunteer opportunities we need to fill.

  • Adopt a county! We would like each county to have a representative that can be responsible for making sure each provider in the county has gotten information on unionization. Some counties have fewer than a dozen providers which would be a great task for those with less time to give.
  • Make phone calls. Our coalition will begin our mass calling effort to reach out to all 12,000 eligible voters once we receive the updated list. This is something that can be done from home in your spare time.
  • Host a training! If you can secure a location and get the providers there, we will come put on a training on child care unionization free of charge. We teach providers about union structure, what they have and have not done in other states and what they can and can't do here. Learn what providers in other states are paying and getting in return.
  • Donate postage, copy paper, gas cards or gift cards to printing or office supply stores. Despite union claims that we are funded by special interest groups, our coalition has not received a dime for our efforts from any outside group. All our printing costs, the cost of training and travel expenses have been paid for by the providers.
